Reflections of Atlantis

Reflections of Atlantis evokes the imagined splendour of a civilisation long since lost beneath the sea.

At its centre, a large circular cabochon shifts through deep blue, green, bronze and antique gold, its intricate surface reminiscent of an ancient medallion transformed by centuries beneath the water. It is surrounded by concentric bronze and copper-toned beadwork, with turquoise, iridescent glass and delicate metallic details adding flashes of submerged colour.

An ivory-toned upper cabochon provides a quiet contrast before the design descends into another richly patterned focal element and an extravagant fringe of teal beads, shimmering crystals and dark drops. Movement brings the fringe to life, allowing the colours to flicker and change like light filtering through deep water.

The beaded necklace measures 51 cm, extendible to 57 cm, with the focal piece measuring 19 cm long including the fringe × 7 cm wide.

Opulent, mysterious and unapologetically dramatic, Reflections of Atlantis feels like a fragment of something magnificent that should have remained lost.
