Microcosm Polymer Clay Earrings

A miniature world brought into view, Microcosm takes its inspiration from the strange geometry and extraordinary forms of microscopic life.

The hand-coloured design is alive with radiating discs, cellular forms and elongated diatom-like shapes, rendered in vivid turquoise, aquatic blue and sharp touches of green. Fine black detailing gives each tiny structure definition against the pale ground, creating the impression of specimens glimpsed through a microscope.

Each earring combines a small oval element with a longer tapered drop, linked so that the two sections move independently. The placement of the pattern varies across the pair, making each earring individual while clearly belonging to the same microscopic landscape. Cool silver-toned fittings complete the design.

Measuring approximately 6 cm long and 2 cm wide, Microcosm is bold and graphic without being cumbersome—a curious little universe of colour, pattern and imagined microscopic life.
