Hellebore Bead Embroidered Necklace

Richly coloured and intricately constructed, Hellebore takes its name from one of the garden’s more mysterious blooms.

A sweeping teal embroidered flower forms the heart of the piece, surrounded by tiny beadwork and shifting iridescent accents. Beneath it, a smooth handcrafted polymer clay cabochon moves through vivid pink, orange and gold, bringing an unexpected warmth to the cooler tones above.

Long strands of metallic green, coral and iridescent beads fall into an elaborate fringe, giving the pendant movement and a slightly exotic, almost ceremonial character.

Suspended from a soft seafoam cord, the necklace measures 51 cm long. The pendant measures 16.5 cm long including the bail and fringe, and 6 cm wide.

Botanical without being delicate, Hellebore is lush, unusual and just a little dark.
