After The Rain Bead Embroidered Necklace

After the Rain is a richly detailed bead-embroidered necklace built around an unusual assemblage of floral metalwork, glass and jewel-toned accents. Turquoise runs throughout the piece, framing the silver-toned focal and picking up the flashes of blue and green in the surrounding cabochons.

The upper section introduces a completely different texture: an abstract, painterly cabochon in deep green, blue, bronze and silver. Below it, three sculpted flowers emerge over sweeping curved lines, giving the design a sense of growth and movement rather than rigid symmetry.

Tiny beads, iridescent glass and metallic elements fill the spaces between, creating detail that becomes more apparent the closer you look.

Suspended from a black cord measuring 50 cm, the pendant measures 9.5 cm long × 5.5 cm wide.
