Strata Polymer Clay Earrings

Layered, weathered and richly patterned, Strata has the character of something shaped by time.

The polymer clay components are created using the mokume gane technique, producing complex, organic patterning in muted turquoise, violet, pewter, soft bronze and flashes of iridescent colour. Fine lines, markings and shifting layers travel across the smooth surface, giving the earrings an almost archaeological quality—somewhere between ancient metalwork, geological formations and fragments of an unknown map.

The pattern varies naturally across each component, making the earrings complementary rather than identical, while subtly iridescent findings echo the changing colours within the clay.

Measuring 6 cm long × 3.5 cm wide, excluding the hook, Strata is a distinctive statement pair with an earthy, mysterious character.
