Blue Note Bead Embroidered Brooch

Blue Note brings together turquoise, ivory and flashes of cobalt in an asymmetric composition that feels crisp, graphic and slightly unconventional.

Three contrasting focal elements shape the design: a luminous pearl-centred circular motif, a richly patterned textile cabochon, and an elongated ivory floral cabochon. The ivory piece is framed by 2 mm round druk beads, their softly mottled finish creating a subtle transition between the pale focal and the surrounding turquoise beadwork. Metallic seed beads, glass beads and small accents add further texture and definition.

Rather than relying on symmetry, the design balances strong circular forms against the long, tapered ivory element, while variations of blue and turquoise move across the piece and tie its different components together.

Measuring approximately 7 cm × 5 cm, Blue Note is a distinctive statement brooch that works particularly well against a simple blazer, jacket or knit.
